Continuing Exploration at Don Luis

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 15, 2011 – Road building for garbage compactor review drill access to the Central Zone, and RC drilling at about 100 meters a day in the West Zone (we are currently on hole DLS11RC040) on Rome's Don Luis Property was the focus this week. The temperature in the field is c rc helicopter market place limbing to about 40 degrees Celsius and we plan to switch to drilling during the night when it is cooler in the Sonora Desert. For this we will need to buy a portable generator and some flood lights.

The first, left picture below, shows the road building on the Central Zone. The picture to the right shows how dusty the drill site on the Western Zone can become—especially if there is no breeze or the breeze is blowing in an awkward direction. Dust masks are worn at all times.

The bottom picture gives an idea of how a RC hole is started. This picture shows a casing bit (left) that is driven by an air hammer (center). The bit when in operation and in clockwise rotation is larger than the diameter of the casing (not shown), but can be rotated  counterclockwise to a smaller size so it can be withdrawn upward inside the casing after it has been successfully installed or set. Chips from the hammer are blown around the  hammer manual trash compactor and into the slots marked "interchange". Thus, sampling can start at the top of a hole.

Work next week will continue the same program as outlined above. We should soon have additi Kenmore Bisque 15 inchi onal assay results that will be merged with geology from the chip 1086274749  logs.
